Stars and Stripes Explosion – Virginia Beach -Multiple live performances on oceanfront stages will attract thousands of visitors and residents of Virginia Beach to a “star-spangled” salute to this great country of ours at Stars & Stripes Explosion on July 4!Scheduled live entertainment offers something for everyone: patriotic and classical to tribute bands, and naturally, fireworks! All concerts and the fireworks show are free and open to the public.
    3. Celebrate Freedom – Chesapeake – Honor our nation’s birthday with a concert from the U. S. Fleet Forces Band and a fireworks finale!
    4. Stars in the Sky – Newport News, Va. – Everyone is invited to the Virginia Peninsula’s biggest Independence Day party: Fourth of July Stars in the Sky at Victory Landing Park. This waterside park, which offers spectacular views of the James River, is filled with 10,000 people who come to celebrate our nation’s birthday.

    6. Independence Fireworks at Mount Vernon – JUNE 28-29- Enjoy a patriotic evening filled with dazzling fireworks, Mansion tours, musical performances, and games on George Washington’s beloved estate! Fireworks begin at approximately 9:30pm.
    7. Yorktown Independence Day Independence Day in Yorktown is a free family-friendly celebration featuring a full lineup of events leading up to the big fireworks finale!
