Time to plan now for these great Fall Festivals across the South:

  • 37th Annual Duluth Fall Festival –  Duluth, Georgia – 8/28-29/2019 -The Festival begins on Saturday morning with a huge parade through the streets of Duluth with more than 3,000 participants. The Parade is followed by an Opening Ceremony on Festival Center stage. Entertainment then takes over the stage for the rest of the day. A second stage is located in Parsons Alley. Sunday morning starts out with a 5K Road Race through Downtown Duluth. This is followed by a worship service, by Duluth First United Methodist Church, on the Town Green. Continuous entertainment at the two stages follows for the rest of the day.
  • North Carolina Pecan Festival – Whiteville, NC- 10/31-11/2/19 – Parades, Pecan Belles, music and more.
  • 36th Annual PumpkinFest – Franklin, TN – 10/26/2019 – Thousands flock to Historic Downtown Franklin for costume contests, arts and crafts and more!
  • Heritage Harvest Festival – Monticello, Va.- 9/21/2019 – The 13th Annual Heritage Harvest Festival, hosted by the Thomas Jefferson Foundation in partnership with Southern Exposure Seed Exchange, and Seed Savers Exchange celebrates Jefferson’s legacy, and the contributions to American cuisine by enslaved workers, in a family-friendly, exciting, affordable and fun-filled atmosphere, promoting gardening, sustainability, local food, and the preservation of heritage plants.

  • TimberFest – Sheridan, AR – This annual event is held the first weekend of every October in downtown Sheridan. You’ll find Lumberjack Competitions, games and fun for children of all ages, arts and crafts, the 5K run, a parade and much more. The event is held on the Grant County Courthouse Square.
  • Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival – Coconut Grove , FL. – 10/26-27/2019
  • 30th Annual World Chicken Festival – London, Ky. – 9/26-29/2019 – Colonel Harland Sanders, founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken, is one of the most highly recognized figures in the world. Laurel County, Kentucky, located in the heart of the beautiful Daniel Boone National Forest, is proud to be the home of the Colonel’s first and original restaurant established in the 1940’s. Lee Cummings, co-founder of Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken, also began his career in 1952 with his uncle, Colonel Sanders, in Laurel County. The Annual World Chicken Festival is a tribute to this heritage.
