Music Festival weather is upon us. Here are our top 15 picks for April and May y’all:

  1. New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival: 25-28 April 2019 & 2-5 May 2019- Even though the Rolling Stones cancelled, this is still a killer lineup. With 12 stages this 50 year old festival provides something for everyone. Earth, Wind and Fire, Van Morrison, Dave Matthews Band, Ciara, Cottonmouth Kings, Santana, Katy Perry, Leon Bridges, Ziggy Marley, Al Green, Gladys Knight, Los Lobos, and Pitbull are just a small sampling of the talent .
  2. Rolling Loud FestivalMay 10-12, 2019 – Miami, Fl. – this one is more for the younger crowd with names like Cardi B. , Lil Wayne, Tiga, Wiz Khalifa, Soulja Boy and more highlight the 3 day festival
  3. Hangout Music Festival – May 16-19 – Gulf Shores, Al. – Something for everybody on the beach. Travis Scott, The Lumineers, Cardi B, Hozier, Judah and the Lion are some of the names listed.
  4. Something In The Water– April 26-28- Virginia Beach, Va. –  Dave Matthews Band, Diplo, Chris Brown, Deepak Chopra, Pharrell and Friends are key acts.
  5. High Water Festival – April 13-14 – North Charleston, SC – New festival to the scene brings The Avett Brothers, The Shins, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, and Dawes this year.
  6. Baton Rouge Blues Festival– April 13-14- Originating in 1981, the Baton Rouge Blues Festival is one of the oldest free blues festivals in America.
  7. Sweetwater 420 Fest – April 19-21- Atlanta, Ga. – Jason Isbell, Widespread Panic, Moon Taxi and more highlight this annual event.
  8. Merlefest – April 25-28- Wilkesboro, NC- 80,000 fans gather every spring on the campus of Wilkes Community College for America’s largest roots festival. Legends mix with newcomers to perform surprising collaborations of bluegrass, folk, and Americana. This year’s feature acts include Brandi Carlile, Donna and the Buffalos, Wynonna, and the Avett Brothers.
  9. Norman Music Festival – April 25-27- Norman, Ok – The free festival takes place in the downtown historic arts district of the city. Still awaiting performance info to be released.
  10. Sandjam – April 26-28- Panama City Beach, FL. – Headliners Kings of Leon and Third Eye Blind.
  11. Fortress Festival – April 27-28- Fort Worth, Tx.- The inspiration is to bring together local and national talents together at unusual venues around the Cultural District of downtown Fort Worth. Headliners include Leon Bridges and CHVRCHES.
  12. Tondossa Festival – April 27-28 – Charleston, SC- Arts, Eats, Music. Headliners include Widespread Panic and Rainbow Kitten Surprise.
  13. Sunfest 2019 – May 2-5- West Palm Beach, Fl. – Keith Urban, Tears For Fears, Flogging Molly, Papa Roach, G-Eazy, Garbage, Bebe Rexha are just some of the names at this one.
  14. Welcome To Rockville – May 3-5- Jacksonville, Fl. – 45 bands, 4 stages, head bangin’ rock and roll. Black Label Society, Chevelle, Flogging Molly, Judas Priest, Rob Zombie, Tool, KORN, Evanescence, The Cult and more headline this festival.
  15. Beale Street – May 3-5 Memphis, Tn. – The kickoff to Memphis in May. Too many acts to list. More to come here on
  16. Shaky Knees Festival– May 3-5 – Atlanta, Ga. – Beck, Incubus, Gary Clark Jr., Cage the Elephant.
  17. I Heart Country Festival– May 4 – Austin, Tx. – Florida Georgia Line, Tim McGraw and more.
  18. Epicenter Festival – May 10-12 – Rockingham, NC- Epicenter is a new 3-day fest that debuts at the newly created Rockingham Festival Grounds in North Carolina. Epicenter Festival replaces Carolina Rebellion, which was held in North Carolina from 2011-2018. Bush, Foo Fighters, Machine Gun Kelly and pretty much the Rockville lineup above.
  19. Rhythym and Blooms – May 17-19 – Knoxville, Tn.
  20. Sunset Music Festival – May 25-26 – Tampa, FL. – This Memorial Day Weekend Party one of the largest events in Tampa Bay, Sunset brings in crowds of over 50,000 attendees to the area. With costumed-clad performing artists and colorful stages, Sunset Music Festival basks in the Florida sunshine.
