When we are finally released back into the wild, many of this year’s most anticipated Summer debuts won’t be happening.
Uncertainty as to when places like theaters and cinemas will re-open, have made the producers of this Summer’s blockbusters re-think their opening nights. The list includes:
- Ghostbusters: Afterlife – 20 years after Ghostbusters 2 had been moved from May 2020 to Match 2021.
- Moribus– Jared Leto fans will have to wait for this vampire re-shuffle until March of next year.
- Wonder Woman:1984 – Moved from June to August of this year.
- No Time To Die– Bond fans will get their fix the day before Thanksgiving now.
- Black Widow– TBA
- Minions: Rise of Gru– TBA
- A Quiet Place 2 – Sometime after this passes.
- F9- Fast and Furious– Moved to April 2021
- Mulan– TBA
- The New Mutants– X-men spinoff TBA
- Also effected are shooting for Netflix favorites like “Stranger Things 4” which is on hold. So is Apple’s “The Morning Show”
- Fans of “The Matrix” and “Avatar” will likely be waiting on their sequels also, as filming has been halted for both.
