Key Lime seems to be the flavor of 2019. Chic=Fil-A recently rolled out their Key Lime Freeze. Dutch Apple pie has always been a Southern favorite. Now, thanks to the good folks over at Krispy Kreme, you can enjoy that great pie taste in a donut.
The Winston-Salem, North Carolina based company announced that 2 pie inspired donut flavors would be available until May 18, 2019:
• Key Lime Pie Doughnut: Filled with a blend of key lime and custard filling and topped with key lime icing and graham crumbles.
• Caramel Dutch Apple Pie Doughnut: Filled with a chunky cinnamon apple filling and topped with caramel icing, a crunchy streusel and a dollop of cinnamon apple filling.
According to Krispy Kreme Key Lime will be available in stores also.
