2019 Top three TP Wedding Dress Contest Winners

Editor’s note: We previously mis-titled this article as “Canceled” we were incorrect, it has been postponed until an appropriate time.

The Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest by Charm Weddings’ Creators Susan Bain and Laura Gawne may be in possession of the most valuable wedding dresses in the world! Each year for the past 16 years, they have asked creators to make wedding dresses and headpieces made of Toilet Paper. This year, the contest has been postponed because of the Corona Virus Pandemic.

Since 2004, the contest has challenged creative makers from across the country to create wearable TP wedding dresses made only of toilet paper, glue, tape and needle and thread. This time of year is when the contest would normally begin. The postponement of the contest will be temporary and will continue at the appropriate time.

“When the Covid-19 outbreak began, we didn’t realize the potential impact and how the availability of toilet paper would come into play!” said Laura Gawne, TP Dress Contest co-creator. “Our thoughts and hearts are with all of those affected by the virus at this difficult time!” added co-creator Susan Bain.

Fans of the contest as well as all of the potential entrants can find updates on the contest and company social media platforms and websites in the coming days and weeks. In the meantime, the sisters are holding on to the Top 3 wedding dresses from 2019…they could be more valuable than gold.
