From the folks that have brought you such unique flavors as Cappucino and Lobster Roll, Lay’s has announced a new comfort flavor just in time for Fall: Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese.
Coming off a positive response to their Flaming Hot Dill flavor in August. This one may also join the list of regulars.
The new chips deliver “a dynamic combination of tomato taste and buttery cheese with underlying creamy and toasted notes,” the company said in a press release.
Recent successes in new flavors include Chesapeake Bay Crab Spice and Southern Biscuits and Gravy. But, like most great things in life, don’t expect this flavor to last long on the shelves.
The new chips are expected to hit shelves October 21.
