That’s right y’all.. as our society moves towards treating animals as equals, the moo-muff craze has hit the farmlands of our great nation.

Forget impeachment and politics: If your calf or cow isn’t wearing moo-muffs, well then obviously you are not keeping up with the modern farming or fashion trends of 2020.

Now, obviously, moo muffs have a practical purpose: it’s to prevent calves from getting frostbite.

According to the moo muffs website, here is how it all got started in Wisconsin:

At Moo Muffs, our goal is to help the cattle producer protect their investment and maximize profits, all while keeping the cattle comfortable. Moo Muffs are able to help eliminate frostbite on baby calves’ ears, keeping the value on calves that would normally be docked at the sale barn.

The first pair of Moo Muffs were made in February 2018. After our family barn burned down in 2016, we had to come up with an innovative way to keep our calves comfortable in the winter months.  And not long after, Moo Muffs were officially born!

Moo Muffs (and we can’t say moo muffs enough) start at $22 for a single pair.

Now let’s all stop staring, and mooooove along.
