America has lost their chicken mind. Shortly after Popeye’s decided to go head to head against Chick-Fil-A, they are bringing their chicken sandwich back…This Sunday… November 3rd… When Chick-Fil-A is closed.
This is kinda like the Monday Night Wars y’all when WCW and RAW duked it out on TV . The winners: everyone who loved professional wrestling. This may lead to the lovers of chicken sandwiches winning across the nation.
But, the coup de grace to this bold move by the Popeye’s is they are coming off the top rope with a return on a Sunday, when Chick-Fil-A is closed across the country.
The first run of the experimental chicken sandwich was in August and it was a HUGE hit. It comes with mayo or cajun sauce. And it sold out nationwide in less than 2 weeks. The chaos was immense. Since then Popeye’s has apparently beefed up employees at all locations in preparation for the return. Also, promised is more product.
