Here is a great recipe for grilled lamb chops, an Easter favorite. This adds a little twist with a nice and easy mint sauce on the side for dipping.

Grilled Lamb Chops w/ Mint Dipping Sauce

  • 8 lamb chops 1 1/4 inches thick
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespooons chopped fresh rosemary dried rosemary is not a good substitute here
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste

Mint Dipping Sauce

  • 1/2 Cup Mint Leaves
  • 1/2 Cup Plain yogurt
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


  • Chops are best at Medium Rare 7-8 minutes tops or 135.*
    Take Rosemary , olive oil, garlic and brush over chops before placing on grill.
    If you have a smoker box, peach wood chips and sprigs of rosemary add a nice flavor.
    Put sauce ingredients in bowl and whisk . Garnish with whole mint leaves.
