Time to make plans to check out the great Music Festivals in the South coming up for 2020. Music festivals picked for this list based upon Google rankings.

  • SXSW– Austin, Texas- March 13-22- Austin gets weird again this year with a festival that covers everything from entrepreneurship, business conferences, networking and kick-ass music. Bands from all over the world perform, as do comedians and a film festival.
  • New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival – 4/23-5/3 – Few festivals mean more to their community than New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festivals. Dating back to 1970, the festival is a complete cultural experience reaching well beyond the music.Lineup TBA
  • Bonnaroo – Manchester, Tn- 6/11-14  – This year’s lineup includes Tool, Tame Impala, Bassnectar, Flogging Molly and Miley Cyrus.
  • Hangout – Gulf Shores, Al. – May 15-17 –  Red Hot Chili Peppers, Post Malone, and Cage the Elephant are part of the lineup.
  • Welcome to Rockville– Daytona Beach – May 8-10 – Heavy metal fans get loud with Metallica, Disturbed, Godsmack and more.
  • Austin City Limits – 10/2-4 and 10/9-11 – 2 Weekends, 8 stages, 130 bands. Lineup TBA.
  • Buku– 3/20-21 – New Orleans – Urban music+art festival meets epic warehouse party celebrating the progressive subculture of New Orleans.
  • Shaky Knees – 5/1-3 – Atlanta – Smashing Pumpkins and The Strokes headline.
  • Louder Than Life Rock Festival– 9/18-20 – Louisville – Metallica headlines 2 Dates.
  • Voodoo Festival – 10/30-11/1 – New Orleans- Lineup TBA
