Here is a simple recipe for roasted green bean appetizers. If y’all let them properly cool, you can refrigerate and serve cold also. And they are great in salads.

Roasted Green Bean Appetizer

Many will tell you to cut off the ends first. I find this recipe works better if you do not. Makes for a tastier green bean. Cut them after they have rested.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb FRESH green beans
  • 2 tbsp Sea or Kosher Salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp fresh ground pepper

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 425
    Rinse Beans in cold water and drain well
    Put rinsed beans in a bowl or freezer bag. Add oil . coat well
    Lay green beans out in single layer on baking sheet
    Coat with Salt and pepper
    Place in oven for 15 minutes
    Serve hot or cold

Notes

Other suggested seasonings include ginger, garlic, onion powder. Play with it. A ranch dressing on the side for dipping works well.
