What makes college football in Dixie so special isn’t just what happens between the hashmarks.  The history, pageantry and camaraderie of the sport – plus the tailgating – are arguably more important than the actual game.  And as the NCAA celebrates 150 years this season, Yall.com is tickled to present the best of our region’s gameday traditions.

Over the next few weeks you’ll have a chance to discover and interact with teams from the ACC, SEC, Big 12, and more.

Love thy school – but please respect the traditions of hated enemies.  It’s that friendly competition of different colors that helps make college football (and the South) one heckuva place to call home – especially from Labor Day until New Year’s Day.

Enjoy this Yall.com battle of some of the best college football traditions in the South.
