And by the slimmest of margins, North Carolina beat out Wyoming as #1. A repeat for North Carolina who was number 1 last year also.
Other Southern states also did well. Both Virginia and Texas finished top 5. Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina all finished in the Top 25.
Other discoveries included gas is cheaper in the South. With 5 Southern states including Arkansas and Mississippi sweeping the Top 5.
West Virginia ranked #3 for lowest camping prices. Arkansas ranked as some of the most expensive.
